--Daedalus 1268 ATM Specifications--



Air Target Services offer Daedalus ATM Acquisition Flights throughout Australia and Internationally. To provide the most flexible and cost efficient means of data acquisition, a variety of airborne platforms are utilised. For high resolution data, the Cessna 402/404 and Aero Commander aircraft are used. For larger area coverage, the Learjet has been chosen as a very capable and economical platform for our operations.

Specifications of the Daedalus 1268 ATM


- 12 individual channels of data, including the following wavelengths:
Band 1 0.42-0.45 um.
Band 2 0.45-0.52 um.
Band 3 0.52-0.60 um.
Band 4 0.605-0.625 um.
Band 5 0.63-0.69 um.
Band 6 0.695-0.75 um.
Band 7 0.76-0.90 um.
Band 8 0.91-1.05 um.
Band 9 1.55-1.75 um.
Band 10 2.08-2.35 um.
Band 11 8.5-13.0 um.
Band 12 Band 11 X0.5 or X2 Gain.


The Daedalus ATM contains the following specifications:

- 2.5 mRad Instantaneous Field of View
- Integrated S-bend geometric distortion correction.
- Digitized 78 degrees Field of View Reduced to 77 degrees with S-bend correction applied.
- Roll Correction +/- 15 degrees.
- 8-bit data provided on Exabyte tape or CD-ROM.
- Spatial resolution determined by aircraft flying height. A 1000 metre increase in flying height = 2.5 metre pixel size increase.
- Image swath = Flying Height X 1.6
